Empowering athletes and igniting resilience, in and out of the arena.

Meet Lennie

Having engaged in a diverse array of sports throughout my formative years, I cultivated a profound love for competition, teamwork, and the invaluable life lessons embedded in athletics. Initially enrolling at Rice University with the intent to play soccer, my trajectory took an unforeseen turn as I recognized my potential in track. Trading soccer cleats for track spikes, I dedicated my athletic aspirations to track and field, ultimately earning the distinction of a two-time All-American and leaving Rice with school records in the mile, 1500, and steeplechase.

Post-Rice, my athletic journey extended onto the international stage, representing Scotland in three consecutive Commonwealth Games and donning the Great Britain colors at various prestigious events, including the World Student Games, European Team Championships, 2016 European Championships, and the Olympic Games in 2016. The fulfillment of making the Olympic team was a lifelong dream realized, setting the stage for subsequent achievements, including my inaugural appearance at the World Championships in the Steeplechase held in London in 2017.

Complementing my athletic achievements, I garnered academic accolades, including recognition as a Rice scholar athlete, a C-USA All-Academic team member, an Academic All-American, and a top 10 honoree for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award in 2009. Furthering my academic pursuits, I received an NCAA post-graduate scholarship to support my journey towards a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston.
